Mitajiri (Hoffa city) was flourished as one of the largest sources of salt in Japan along with Ako in Edo period.
To honor the succeed to the next generations, salt-making workshop using the former channeled salt-terrace method used for 260 from the mid of Edo period to 1955s is available in here.
