A landmark tower of Kanmon Strait opened in July 1996.
Takes 70 seconds by the see-through elevator. 360 degrees panorama view from the observatory 143m from the ground includes Kanmon Strait, Ganryu island, and Japan sea.
The light up changes depending on the season and the days.
Designated as the first "sacred place for lovers" in Yamaguchi in October 2006.
